6) If I join the Santa Ana River Unit, can I take part in events hosted by other BCHC units?

7) Do I have to own a horse to join BCHC?

Suprisingly, we hear this question a lot. No, you do not have to own a horse. Other members may offer their horses to use for those who do not have one.

8) Can I ride with BCHC if I am not a member?

This question has to be answered on a situation basis. We have two 'open' rides a year where non-members are encouraged to participate. Other than those rides, non-member riders are not encouraged to participate in scheduled rides.
